This is the computer that was in our hotel room in Seoul the night we left Changnyeong.  I was writing an email to my mom while Preston was messing around with the TV remote.

And then the email showed up on the TV screen.  Pretty cool.

The totally empty, kind of creepy, gate for our departing flight from Taipei to Bangkok.

Our hotel pool was in the shadows all afternoon.  Not super convienent for a warm, sunny reading spot.

"Did you know-"

"Are you lying right now?"

"Ohhh..." And he turns away embarassed.  

I never did find out what that story was going to be.

During the day, this rock and many others like it were covered by the water.  At night, during low tide, there were rocks this big or bigger everywhere.

Crazy picture.  These little bubbles of sand were everywhere.  We were on a mission to find out what was inside.

But first, we were distracted by a Christmas Eve celebration at a very nice beachside resort that was out of our price range. They even had fireworks.  Speaking of fireworks... we saw some when we were landing in Taiwan, I wonder what they were for.

That is one of the little bubbles being quickly constructed by a tiny crab.  We have some blurry video of it.  It was pretty cool.

Tons of shells.  These also could have been the culprit of Preston bleeding foot.  We will never know.

This is obviously... something.  Oh course it is a pile of sand, but why it looks like that, I do not know.  There were quite a few of them around.

And here is another thing.  We made sure not to step on these because we weren't sure what might happen.
